dad. educator. graphic designer. aspiring letterer. garage woodworker. photo taker. analogy slinger. ceaseless seeker of new. equal parts analog + digital. nice guy.
Welcome to my little bio page. From time to time I use this space to test out ideas or demo concepts or techniques in class. So if it looks off - don't worry - it is just me playing with code.
As you probably guessed, I'm the program director for the graphic design program at Bellevue University. I've been teaching graphic design since 2000 with the 2016/2017 academic year marking my fifteenth year at Bellevue University. I've been a practicing graphic designer for over 30 years.
My passion for design is fueled by just about everything from graffiti to lettering. As much as I love technology, you'll usually find me with pen and paper - my sketchbooks and notebooks are never far from reach.
I dabble in woodworking and enjoy going on day hikes. Our two bulldogs also require my attention. (There's nothing more pathetic than a sad bulldog.)
Music is equally important to me. You might find me listening to everything from jazz to lots of electronic stuff.
If you've got any questions, please don't hesitate to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
